STANDING COMMITTEES
Budget & Financial Oversight
- maintain guidelines for ACRES accounting/bookkeeping procedures
- maintain guidelines to reimburse member expenses incurred while performing ACRES business
- recommend activities to increase revenues for maintaining sound fiscal status
- review the annual budget and make recommendation on its approval
- oversee annual audit of ACRES financial statements
- report on ACRES finances at Annual Business Meeting

Conference Planning
- prepare Conference budget
- arrange lodging and other services at Conference site
- arrange for keynote speakers and other special activities/social events
- collaborate with the Local Planning Committee
- make recommendations for next Conference based upon evaluation data

Conference Program
- select reviewers of proposals
- coordinate proposal review and presenter notification
- coordinate assignment of time slots and room space for presentations
- finalize presentation schedule

Membership & Marketing
- monitor membership rosters to maintain data on member characteristics/trends
- recruit new members and renew active status of inactive members
- foster involvement of all members
- evaluate the members' satisfaction
- committee chairs: Marsha Lakes and Kevin Miller
Nominations & Elections
- solicit nominations for all elected officer positions
- contact nominees to determine eligibility and willingness to serve
- nominate at least two (2) candidates for each officer position
- prepare mail ballot for distribution to the full membership
- tally ballots and notify newly-elected officers
- announce results to the Board of Directors and to the membership

Scholarship and Exemplary Programs
- prepare information/application forms for Awards and Scholarship
- select application reviewers
- coordinate submission and review of applications and notify recipients
- present all awards at Conference
- committee chairs: Suzanne Harrison and June Lemke
AD HOC COMMITTEES
