EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR AWARD
The ACRES 2000 Educator of the Year Award recipient was William F. Young, Superintendent of Glynn County School District, Brunswick, Georgia. Bill served two terms on the ACRES Board of Directors and played a key role as a voice for collaboration and cooperation between the local, state, and national levels.
NATIONAL AWARD FOR EXEMPLARY RURAL SPECIAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS
